Why Wiki?

A Wiki can be used for collaborative work. It is an easy to use groupware system, very well suited for student projects.

Conventions for the Lehre-Wiki

Access control

Users of the EditorGroup are allowed to edit pages. Users of the AdminGroup are allowed to add users in the EditorGroup. Contact LarsKaleschke if you have questions.

Control Lists (ACLs) should be used to give specific users or groups the right to do specific actions.

Name space

Please use SubPages or name your pages with a prefix corresponding to the course. This avoids conflicts with too general page names from different courses. For example: all names of pages that belong to the lecture SatelliteImageAnalysis start with the prefix Sia.

Use preview

Please use the preview button to avoid too many changes to be stored in the database.

How to use this site

A Wiki is a collaborative site, anyone can contribute and share:

Edit any page by pressing Edit at the top or the bottom of the page
Create a link to another page with joined capitalized words (like WikiSandBox) or with ["quoted words in brackets"]
Search for page titles or text within pages using the search box at the top of any page
