Which company will do the move?
How have the offices to be prepared?
- Furniture will be labelled by the moving company prior to the move, and will be moved to HdE.
- Unlabelled furniture will be taken to some central storage - where we won't have access to it anymore.
- The rest will be considered trash.
Will plants also be moved by the company?
- Only if the are packed.
- As an alternative, every floor can collect their plants on that Monday (see schedule above) and leave them in the stairway. They can then be moved to HdE on that Friday (AFTER the furniture and boxes).
When will the meeting rooms on floors 4 and 5 in HdE be available, and bookable?
- They should be available from the time we move into HdE.
- The booking system does already exist, booking should be done through our secretaries - once they have been introduced to the system.
When will I get my transponder?
- When they are ready programmed. We have provided the coordinators with all info, and we will be informed once the new transponders are ready to be picked up at Mittelweg. Those who already have a transponder will only use to update it (by the front desc at Geomatikum).
When will we get the moving boxes and labels?
- We were told that they should be provided by the moving company 4 weeks prior to the move. We will inform you once they arrived.
Will there by kitchens on both floors?
- No, there will be only one kitchen on the 5th floor, equipped with some base units and a rinse, maybe a dishwasher. You better expect that most of the existing tableware will not move into HdE.
- You better make sure that all tableware that should not end up in a trash container is removed from your kitchen in Bu53, before we leave this building.
Will the posters in the corridors also be moved?
- Yes, but they should be properly prepared. As they won't fit into the moving boxes, you may find a different way of protecting them.
